On Friday night as our Eagles triumphed over the Leicester Riders the draw took place for the 2018 BBL Trophy Semi-Finals live on BBC Sport.

While our visitors were no-doubt fully focussed on the Championship game at Sport Central, the draw has thrown up a rare possibility of an all-Riders clash with one of their amateur teams, the Loughborough Student Riders, in contention for a semi-finals place if they can beat London Lions next Friday night.

If we can get a win against DBL Sharks Sheffield next weekend our Eagles will face either Cheshire Phoenix or Worcester Wolves who play tomorrow for their semis place and will also tip-off in this month’s BBL Cup Final in Birmingham.
