Newcastle Eagles, one of British basketball’s most iconic clubs, are set the stars of a new documentary capturing their historic run to the Final Four of the European North Basketball League (ENBL) during the 2024/25 season.

This short film entitled Soaring into History: From Newcastle to a European Final Four chronicles the Eagles’ remarkable journey as the first British men’s team ever to reach the final stage of a major European basketball competition.

The documentary will be available on DAZN and YouTube on July 14, 2025.

Eagles fans will be treated to an exclusive first look in a special event at the Vertu Motors Arena on the evening of July 11. Tickets for the premiere night are available on the club’s box office and selling fast.

Filmed and produced by SLB, and edited by JLR Videography, the film offers all-access behind-the-scenes coverage and in-depth interviews with players, coaches, club management and fans.
