Tuesday’s BBL Cup Semi-Final between the Eagles and Leicester Riders has been moved from Manchester’s National Basketball Performance Centre due to COVID-19 implications.

Manchester Giants have a number of players self-isolating and the club is unable to host this week’s back-to-back semis.

In accordance with the BBL’s Secure Play protocols and rule amendments, Danny Byrne’s side has forfeited their semi-final against London Lions and neither of Tuesday’s ties will now take place in Manchester as planned.

Leicester will host the Eagles at the Riders’ Morningside Arena. The new venue was decided via a remote random draw, carried out by BBL officials and witnessed by representatives from both clubs.

London progress to the Final which takes place on Friday 24 January.

The Eagles tip off against fierce rivals Leicester from 5pm on Tuesday and the action will be streamed live via the BBL Player with 2020-21 season ticket holders getting free access to this game.
