Newcastle Eagles and its fellow BBL Cup Semi-Finalists, in consultation with the British Basketball League, have come to an agreement to amend the format for the Semi-Finals after fixture pressures due to COVID-19 implications.

Together with Leicester Riders, London Lions and Manchester Giants, the club has agreed to change the Cup’s penultimate competition stage format from two-legs to a single-leg with both games played in one central venue on the same day.

Following this change the BBL Cup Semi-Finals will now take place on Tuesday 12 January 2021 at the National Basketball Performance Centre in Manchester.

Our Eagles’ tip-off against the Leicester Riders will be the first game of the day at 5pm. The winners of that game will find out who they will face in the 2021 BBL Cup Final in the 8pm tip-off between London Lions and Manchester Giants.
