At last Friday’s game Newcastle Eagles forward, Kareem Maddox, was presented with the BBL Molten Player of the Month for a second time this season, previously taking the honor in November 2012.

This season Maddox has been displaying great performances for the Eagles fans and the team but in February he took his game to a new level. During the month Kareem averaged an amazing double-double of 21.6 points and 13 rebounds per game continuing his outstanding rookie BBL season and keeping the Eagles with a chance of retaining the league title.

Also, during February Maddox produced one of the best performances the league has seen this season. On 24th February, against Surrey Heat, Kareem scored 26 points and managed to pull down 20 rebounds in addition to 4 blocked shots.
Currently Kareem is leading the league in rebounding with 10.5 rpg and is averaging 15.5 ppg.
