Eagle-eyes will on live European North Basketball League action tonight as the result between two teams in our group could mean historic Play-Offs qualification.
A Tuesday night win for Lithuanian side BC Siauliai away at Liege Basket, as well as seeing the Baltic ballers secure second place, could lock-out a top-three finish possibility for the Belgians.
Despite Siauliai having already qualified for the next stage, victory on the road would see them take the top-spot and a forthcoming fixture against Group A’s forth-placed-finishing fellow British Basketball League club Bristol Flyers.
If the Lithuanians can take the ‘W’, it will be with the thanks of grateful fans in Newcastle as the club will be certain to advance to the 2024 ENBL Play-Offs.
However, Liege beating Siauliai will mean that next Tuesday night at the Vertu Motors Arena it will be a showdown for the final Play-Offs place between our Eagles and Zastal Zielona Gora.
Final match-ups for Play-Offs won’t be settled until after next week’s final buzzer at the Vertu Motors Arena, where the teams and fans from right across the continent will undoubtably be watching the action unfold.
Tonight’s game between Liege and Siauliai can be watched live from Belgium on the ENBL YouTube channel.
Tickets for next Tuesday night’s final ENBL group stage game for our Eagles are available from the box office.
