We have yet another debutante in our line-up and also the joint best performance of the entire 2015-16 season so far.

KC Ross-Miller (Surrey Scorchers)
It’s a first ever appearance in our starting line-up for the Scorchers’ guard and it came in quite dramatic circumstances as Surrey completed one of the most spectacular final quarter rescue missions in recent memory. Coming from more than 20 points down against London Lions, Ross-Miller poured in 26 points during the contest and also weighed in with a fine eight assists, five rebounds and three steals, on a memorable night for the visitors.

Danny Huffor (Cheshire Phoenix)
It’s second slot in three weeks for the Phoenix man and there was also a sense of déjà vu as he once again helped to take down his ex-employers, Glasgow Rocks. He provided the main thrust for Cheshire as they took a home win in the BBL Championship thanks to a scorching clinic from three-point range from Huffor who sunk six triples in a 24-point haul. He also served up two assists, grabbed two steals and was just one rebound short of a double-double.

Charles Smith (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
The evergreen forward continues to ooze class and underlined his quality by posting the joint best display of the campaign after accumulating an eye-popping performance efficiency valuation of 43 against Plymouth University Raiders. Stepping up even more than usual in the wake of a long injury list, Smith scored 34 points from 61% shooting and completed a mammoth double-double after pulling down 16 rebounds. He also handed out four assists and blocked three shots.

TrayVonn Wright (Leicester Riders)
The Riders’ forward becomes only the third player this season to record a sixth starting appearance. Wright was on-song for his side in their BBL Trophy Semi-Final First-Leg against Sheffield Sharks as the new Leicester Community Sports Arena recorded a rare draw less than a month after opening. He delivered a super all-round effort after netting 22 points and sealing a double-double with 10 boards – as well as offering two assists, two steals and of course a fantastic four trademark swats.

Andy Thomson (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
It’s a third starting berth in the last six weeks for Thomson, who is really beginning to hit the heights at just the right time. With his team short-handed, he helped the Eagles to ease their way into yet another showpiece Final. He accumulated an excellent double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds in the BBL Trophy Semi-Final Second Leg at Worcester Wolves – also adding five assists and a block, to punch a ticket to the Emirates Arena a week on Saturday.
