Great Britain will be looking cement a strong start to the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 Qualifiers Second Round on Sunday 28 August when they return to Newcastle to face Latvia at the Vertu Motors Arena.

GB have secured two wins in their last three outings in the North East having toppling European heavyweights, Germany and Greece, and battling hard against a very talented Turkish side despite a depleted roster.

The home of Newcastle Eagles has been confirmed again as the venue for the August home game for our national team as they host Latvia with a 6pm tip-off.
