This Friday night as the Esh Group Eagles Newcastle take on the London Lions in the BBL Cup Semi-Final 2nd Leg at Sport Central we will have even more family fun than usual with four special guests joining in on our game-night entertainment.

Our hosts, Dan Black and Howard Leighton, and cheerleaders, the Eaglettes, will be joined on-court by intu Metrocentre’s Metrognomes in breaks and time-outs across the game.

Herbert, Sherbet, Maggot and Rusty will be around the arena cheering on our Eagles and posing with fans for photographs.

Don’t forget our intu Chuck-A-Duck game will be on as always and you could win intu Gift Cards just in time for Christmas, but make sure you get your duck from the foyer for just £1 before the end of half-time.

CASH FOR KIDS MISSION CHRISTMAS

This Friday intu are our ball sponsor and as well as welcoming them to Sport Central we are also teaming up for Metro Radio’s Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas appeal.

Last year in our region, Cash for Kids helped secure gifts for over 40,000 children who normally would receive nothing at Christmas. This year the target is even higher so they need your help.

There are Giving Boxes at both intu Eldon Square and intu Metrocentre where you can drop off new and unwrapped presents.

All your gifts will be distributed to underprivileged children across the North East through Cash for Kids’ Mission Christmas to help make Christmas morning special for every child in our region.
