Our Eagles Community Arena steelwork is really coming on after a very exciting and fast-paced week of progress on-site.

The big 27 tonne central truss, which made it’s way up the A19 to Elswick this Thursday afternoon, will be lifted into place early next week. The shape of our arena will then really start to be carved into the Scotswood Road skyline.

As the frame of the main arena space continues to develop we will have more updates for you next week and then the Esh Group team start work on the other half of the building.
