Last night live on YouTube the draw took place for the 2023 WBBL Trophy opening ties, which sees our Eagles face the Nottingham Wildcats.

The bracketed tournament in which the first round games take place over the weekend of January 7 and 8 will see the winners go on to the next stage to tip-off against either Essex Rebels or Sevenoaks Suns.

Date, tip time and venue are all to be announced in due course.
