After week 3 of the BBL and week 2 of the WBBL the leagues have made their picks of players and three of our Eagles have made the cut in the teams of the week.

Making a fantastic first impression in game number one as an Eagle, our latest signing Jeremy Smith has been given a bench place on the BBL All-Stars. It’s a fitting nod with our Eagles flying away to London on Sunday to take on the top eight clubs from last season in this year’s British Basketball All-Stars Championship.

There were bench places for our WBBL players too after Kara Bonenberger and Steph Gandy put in brilliant performances on Saturday in their first home game as Eagles. Kara and Steph netted 39 out of 73 points against the Hatters, scoring 21 and 18 respectively also picking up 16 and 8 rebounds.

Over on the leagues’ websites you can see the full BBL All-Star Five Week 3 and WBBL All-Star Five Week 2 rosters.
