The British Basketball League has announced a ground-breaking partnership with New England Sports Network (NESN), furthering the global reach of British basketball and providing sports fans in the New England region with unparalleled access to the sport for the 2023/24 season.

This deal represents a significant step forward for the league in reaching a new international audience with its plan to expand its global broadcasting footprint.

NESN will bring the action of British Basketball League games to basketball enthusiasts in the six New England states. Viewers can look forward to two live games each week, airing one on Thursdays and one on Fridays, alongside a brand-new magazine show ‘Unbeatable’.

One of the top-rated regional sports networks in the United States, NESN hosts award-winning Boston Red Sox baseball and Boston Bruins ice hockey coverage.

NESN and NESN+ are delivered throughout the six-state New England region and are available anytime, anywhere, on any device on the NESN 360 app.

The network is also distributed nationally as NESN National with NESN.com being one of the country’s most visited sports websites with dedicated digital video productions and always-on news coverage.

“New England has some of the most dedicated sports fans on the planet,” said Aaron Radin, the League’s Chief Executive Officer.

“This deal with NESN and the British Basketball League will bring international competition to their fingertips and will give us the privilege of welcoming these fans into the fold of British basketball.

“As the CEO of the League, and as an American, I am profoundly excited about the potential these collaborations hold, not only for our players and teams but for basketball fans worldwide.”

The first game shown on NESN will be tonight’s tip-off between Manchester Giants and Bristol Flyers. Our Eagles make their NESN debut next week when they face the London Lions on Friday 27 October at 7:45pm (UK time).
