After an exciting weekend at the 02 Arena when the stars of the NBA lit up London along with Mersey Tigers, the competition from BBL players to make our Team Of The Week line- was similarly intense with an array of high quality performances to choose from.

Rod Middleton (Worcester Wolves)

Worcester Wolves were the big winners of the weekend in the play-off race as they racked up a win double with guard Rod Middleton instrumental in the success against Worthing Thunder. He racked up a performance valuation of 30 after scoring 24 points to go with an impressive 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Middleton last featured in our starting five way back during Week 12.

Trey Moore (Newcastle Eagles)

After an extended break from BBL action, the former league MVP returned to the floor looking suitably refreshed and rejuvenated. Moore produced another dazzling display to stay way out in front when it comes to the most BBL Team Of The Week appearances this season. He put UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders to the sword with the second best performance of the week after registering 32 points with a devastating shooting display. Just for good measure, he also added seven assists.

Nick Livas (Glasgow Rocks)

Livas makes his BBL Team Of The Week debut in style with one of the best performances of the season. He amassed a valuation score of 36 after a stellar display against Essex Pirates. The versatile and all action small forward finished with a near triple double of 17 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. It was the stand-out performance of the week although his weekend was soured a little by the subsequent home floor loss to Cheshire Jets as his team lost valuable ground in the title race.

Mike Tuck (One Health Sharks Sheffield)

Mike Tuck has been one of the most consistent performers in the BBL during the last 12 months or so and another typically classy performance books him a slot in our five having already featured a few times this season including twice in the first four weeks. Tuck was the difference in the game against Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders as he claimed a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds to help One Health Sharks Sheffield maintain their BBL Championship challenge.

David Watts (Worcester Wolves)

While team-mate Rod Middleton did the bulk of the damage in the game against Thunder, Watts shone brightly against Prestige Homes MK Lions as he exploded for 28 points. He underlined his versatility by stepping out of the paint and draining a stunning eight triples to down the Lions while also pulling down 6 rebounds in what was another BBL Team Of The Week debut performance.
