At half-time during our game on Friday night at Sport Central, the draw for the BBL Trophy Quarter-Finals was made live on BBC Sport.
Joining our Esh Group Eagles Newcastle in the final eight are Cheshire Phoenix, Leicester Riders, London Lions, Worcester Wolves and Plymouth Raiders.
The remaining eight place, who we now know will play at London Lions at their Copper Box Arena, is guaranteed to be a non-BBL side with Falkirk Fury and Loughborough Student Riders still to play this Wednesday 20 December.
Our Eagles were handed a home draw and following the DBL Sharks Sheffield win over NBL Division 1 side Manchester Magic on Friday night our next leg of the Trophy is set.
Tip-off dates are still to be announced for the one-leg Quarter-Final fixtures, which are as follows:
Cheshire Phoenix v Worcester Wolves
Plymouth Raiders v Leicester Riders
Esh Group Eagles Newcastle v DBL Sharks Sheffield
London Lions v Sony Centre Fury/Loughborough Student Riders
We do know that our game against Sharks will be scheduled for early in the new year and we will of course add this to the fixtures here on our website, which you can have automatically updated into your calendar.
