Seventeen-year-old Ross Wilson is set to make his senior Eagles debut tonight against Worthing Thunder at Sport Central.

The youngster is a graduate of the Eagles School of Excellence and has played in the Eagles Community Foundation Central Venue League since he was 11. He is currently the captain of the Newcastle Eagles U18 side but his good performances this season have earned him a call-up to the senior side.

Wilson, who is 6ft 6ins and plays Small Forward, is a member of the England U18 Provisional squad and will join up with the England camp on Sunday. He is an athletic player with good speed, strength and the ability to score.
