A high-scoring game at Worthing produced two nominations BBL Team of Week number 12.

Thunder point guard Ryan Patten and Worcester Wolves’ high scoring forward Anthony Paez were the two men to get into the team after Worthing’s 121-111 victory against Skouson Harker’s side.

Patten drained six three pointers off eight attempts as he finished with a team-high 28 points to lead Thunder to victory. The Ohio-born American also dished out 12 assists in 36 minutes as Worthing made it three wins in succession and four in their last five games.


Paez continues to be in good for the Wolves, converting 14 of his 21 floor shots and nine of his 11 free-throw attempts to finish with 40 points. He also pulled down six rebounds and came up with three steals in 38 minutes of action.

Newcastle Eagles guard Trey Moore is another player to return to the Team of the Week after help his side bounce back from their BBL Trophy disappointment to win 105-81 at Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders, on Saturday.

Moore finished with 18 points, eight assists, five rebounds, two steals and an assist in just 29 minutes of action as Fab Flournoy’s team returned to winning ways.


The other game to produce two nominations for this week’s team took place at Plymouth Pavilions, where the Airwaves Plymouth Raiders defeated PAWS London Capital 102-79 in front of over 1,400 fans.

Raiders centre Terrance Durham had a massive night on the boards as he pulled down 18 rebounds to help his side maintain their title charge. Durham averaged a rebound every 62 seconds, and added 16 points as his team piled the misery on Capital.

The one bright spot for the London side was the form of recent signing Duane James who scored 36 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Milek Jivens’ team to take the final spot on the Team of the Week.
