BBL All-Star Five – Week 10
We have three debutantes in our line-up this week, including a player who arrives for the first time after posting the joint-best performance of the season so far.

Zaire Taylor (London Lions)
It’s a second appearance of the campaign for the former BBL MVP, whose experience and quality have been vital in Lions posting a brilliant first couple of months. Taylor helped his side shoot down Manchester Giants with an excellent shooting effort as he made seven of eight from close-range on his way to a 22-point haul. The guard also completed a fine double-double with a stellar 12 assists and did plenty of hard work to garner eight rebounds.

Quincy Taylor (Surrey Scorchers)
Our first new face lifted Scorchers to a win against Cheshire Phoenix with a sublime shooting display. Taylor dropped 24 points on his opponents and did it by making an outstanding 79% from the field which Phoenix just couldn’t live with. The Scorchers’ backcourt star was also just one assist shy of completing a terrific double-double, as he showcased his creative ability. He also added four rebounds, a steal and a block on a great night for his team.

Donte Nicholas (Plymouth Raiders)
Our second debutante was unstoppable as he torched Esh Group Eagles Newcastle on a historic night at the Pavilions. He was the pivotal figure for the jubilant hosts as they racked up their biggest ever score against the North-East club – helped by a wonderful 30 points from Nicholas, which was achieved via a dazzling 10 of 12 from the floor. He came up with the joint-best performance efficiency valuation of 2016-17 with a score of 37, boosted by seven rebounds and six assists.

Rashad Hassan (London Lions)
The reigning Molten BBL Player of the Month is continuing to light it up in the capital and was instrumental in Lions racking up their latest triumph. The forward was his typically lethal self against Giants, as he wreaked havoc at the hoop, en-route to a massive 31 points. Hassan’s jaw-dropping effort of sinking 14 of his 16 attempts underlines how his opponents found him far too hot to handle. He also came up with seven boards, two assists, a steal and a block to complete a great stat line.

Cory Dixon (Plymouth Raiders)
Our last debutante this week also enjoyed himself on his home turf as he helped to rip the league leaders apart in front of the celebratory Raiders fans, who enjoyed their biggest ever win against the Eagles. Dixon grabbed his first spot of the season after harvesting 26 points from a super 67% shooting effort. The forward also did the business on the glass with seven rebounds and showed his passing vision by handing out seven assists in an all-action display.
