Sunday’s sensational WBBL Cup first round win saw our Eagles take their place in last night’s draw for the quarter-finals.

Outstanding performances against Cardiff on the weekend from Mante Kvederaviciute and Anja Fuchs-Robetin even earned the players starting spots in the league’s All-Star Five this week.

Kvederaviciute’s performance valuation of 35 claimed her the title of Player of the Week, attained by a stellar 26 points from 68% shooting, 8 boards, 5 assists and 2 steals.

Fuchs-Robetin picked-up a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds which helped to pace our Eagles’ victory against Archers, also recording 4 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks.

The next stage draw took place live on the WBBL’s Facebook Page and saw our Eagles pulled out third for a home fixture with the Manchester Mystics as our visitors. That game’s date and tip-off time will be announced in due course.
