Our Seriös Group Newcastle Eagles Men’s British Basketball League 2024 Play-Offs opening tip-offs have been confirmed.
Following Leicester Riders’ win at Surrey Scorchers yesterday, the men were locked into 6th place in this season’s Championship standings and will face Caledonia Gladiators who finished 3rd.
As the higher seed, Caledonia Gladiators have home advantage and host the first game of the Quarter-Finals best-of-three series on Friday 26th April at 7:45pm.
We return home the following Friday 3rd May with a 7:30pm tip-off for game two when we need all our Eagles fans to pack the Vertu Motors Arena and get behind the team!
The home Play-Offs Quarter-Final game is including on our 2023-24 season tickets and single game tickets are now available to purchase from the box office.

This season’s new format for the quarter and semi-finals stages of the Men’s British Basketball League Play-Offs will be decided by a three-game series. It is the outcome of the first two tip-offs, not the aggregate scores, that decides who progresses and if those games result in a 1-1 tie then a third fixture breaks the deadlock, played with home advantage for the higher seed.
A limited number of away game tickets for the opening tip-off, sitting in our Eagles fan’s section at the Caledonia Gladiators’ Playsport Arena, are available to purchase from our box office.
Should a third game be needed, this will take place away on Sunday 5th May with tip-off time and ticket details to be confirmed in due course.
