In less than a month, the line-up for the 2017 BBL Cup Final at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham will be known.

Four clubs are still gunning for a spot at what promises to be another thrilling showpiece event, with the winners due to lift the first piece of BBL silverware on offer this season.

While Surrey Scorchers have had a slow start in the BBL Championship, they are ready to turn up the heat in the Cup after manoeuvring their way to the Semi-Finals where they will now lock horns with Glasgow Rocks.

The first leg will take place at Surrey Sports Park on Friday 02 December in a 7.30pm tip-off, with the return leg less than 48 hours later at 5pm on Sunday 04 December at the Emirates Arena.

There’s a chance there could be a repeat of the 2015 Final if Rocks manage to advance and current Cup holders Esh Group Eagles Newcastle manage to overcome London Lions. That promises to be a particularly fascinating match-up, since both clubs have already racked up BBL Championship victories on their opponents’ floors during recent weeks.

The Copper Box Arena will be the venue for the first leg on Sunday 11 December in a 4pm tip-off and the second leg will be at Sport Central on Friday 16 December at 7.30pm, as the Eagles look to seal what would be a staggering sixth consecutive Cup Final appearance.

The 2017 BBL Cup Final is part of a super double-bill on Sunday 15 January, when fans will also be able to enjoy the inaugural 2017 WBBL Cup Final.
