Our Eagles forward Hashan French leads the league’s All-Star Five this week after a huge weekend in BBL Championship action.

It’s a debut in the pick of the players for French follow our Eagles’ Friday night win as we split a weekend double-header with Leicester Riders.

French was key in our first win in six games beating Leicester Riders 92-85 at the Vertu Motors Arena in front of a packed-house.

Our big man stuffed the stat sheet with a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, adding five assists, four blocks and three steals.

The 6’7″ forward epitomised in the 23-13 fourth quarter, that won the game, as he had five points, four boards, two steals, an assist and a block in those ten minutes, including the dunk that sparked the decisive 10-0 burst late on.

Meanwhile Kyle Johnson’s impressive performance on the floor earned him a nod on the All-Star bench this week with his game leading 21 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists.
