BBL All-Star Five – Week 27
There are just a handful of line-ups left of the current campaign and we’ve still managed to squeeze in yet another debutant.

Rahmon Fletcher (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
It’s been a painful time of late for the Eagles, whose title bid disintegrated after a number of damaging defeats. But, their star playmaker got them back on track at Sport Central last weekend. Fletcher showed his quality against Glasgow Rocks and finished with a game-high 26 points from 60% shooting, as well as adding four assists and three boards in an energetic offering.

Rashawn Rembert (DBL Sharks Sheffield)
It’s been a while since Rembert appeared in our line-up, but he makes his return after helping Sheffield bounce back from defeat at Riders with a one-sided success in Manchester. He paved the way for victory by erupting for 27 points after a flawless shooting display from downtown. He made all five of his attempts from long-range and it was part of a simply stunning 10 of 11 from the field.

Jermel Kennedy (Worcester Wolves)
There is no stopping the Molten BBL Player of the Month for March, who is continuing his rich vein of form into April and was the main man for Wolves in an exciting victory at Plymouth Raiders. Kennedy came within a whisker of posting a stellar triple double, after only just falling short by harvesting an all-action 12 points, nine rebounds and nine assists – as well as four steals.

Navid Niktash (London Lions)
It’s a first-ever appearance in our fantastic five for the Lions’ forward after he guided his team to a commanding road win in Yorkshire. Niktash torched Leeds with a 26-point haul which included a trio of three-pointers, while also doing the hard work on the glass by coming up with eight rebounds. He also bagged two steals to secure his debut slot in our line-up.

Leslee Smith (Bristol Flyers)
It was a brilliant weekend for Bristol and the Flyers’ forward was instrumental in the south-west franchise completing a win-double. Smith racked up an excellent double-double at Cheshire Phoenix after he landed 15 points and also garnered the same number of rebounds. He shot 66% from the field and was a factor on defence too, as he swatted two shots.

Off the bench – Jermaine Sanders (Leeds Force), Rashad Hassan (London Lions), Pierre Hampton (Leicester Riders), Cory Dixon (Plymouth Raiders), Earl Brown (Cheshire Phoenix), Mike Vigor (Bristol Flyers), Scott Martin (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
