PAWS London Capital 68 (21, 36, 48) (Gariba 13, Ivanov/Knysas 11)
Newcastle Eagles 89 (24, 49, 67) (Defoe 26, Bridge/Jackson 16)

The Newcastle Eagles kept up their assault on the title tonight with a 68-89 win over PAWS London Capital. The game was played at the Capital City Academy, as Milek Jivens’ struggling side were victims of the backlash of the Eagles surprise league defeat to Worthing Thunder last weekend.

After a close first period which finished 21-24 in the Eagles favour, the Capital found it difficult to make an impact on the game, as they finished the second and third quarters 36-49 and 48-67 down respectively.
