Yet another award for Esh Group Eagles Newcastle was secured tonight as the team that swept all four major National trophies last season earlier this year won the prestigious BBC North East Sport Team of the Year Award.

At a glittering ceremony at Sunderland Tennis Club at Silksworth, Managing Director Paul Blake and Head Coach Fab Flournoy were on hand to accept the award from ex-Sunderland goalkeeper Jim Montgomery.

After winning all four trophies last season The Eagles have won all 12 games played so far this season and thoroughly deserved the award for all their endeavours so far this calendar year.
