The dates for our May Madness 2021 BBL and WBBL Play-Offs Quarter-Finals have been set.
Our women will start their play for the silverware on the tournament’s opening day this Saturday, while the men get into the post-season action next week.
Finishing in fourth our BBL team now know they will face fifth-place Sheffield Sharks in the first tip-off on Tuesday 4 May at the Vertu Motors Arena with their second leg two days later at the University of Worcester Arena.
Updated 29-04-201: Sevenoaks Suns won the WBBL Championship last week which means they will face eight placed Oaklands Wolves and title runners-up Leicester Riders will be our Eagles’ Quarter-Final opposition.
Meanwhile our WBBL squad await some mid-week results to decide on who will stand between them and when they will battle for a spot in the Semi-Finals taking place in Worcester next week.
Sevenoaks Suns won the WBBL Championship last week which means Leicester Riders take second place and either of the two teams will be lined-up against our Eagles or Oaklands Wolves who will finish in either the 7th or 8th positions.
WBBL FINISHING POSITION PERMUTATIONS
If Oaklands win their final game of the league session on Wednesday, they would finish 7th and so our Eagles finish 8th and play SunsIf Oaklands lose, they will finish 8th and we will finish 7th with the “Head-to-Head” over Wolves having been secured in our recent win against them.
