The line-up for the 2014 BBL Trophy quarter-finals has been finalised after Worcester Wolves punched the final remaining ticket for the last eight of the competition.

A strong display by influential point-guard Zaire Taylor helped Wolves to rack up an 82-73 success at the Copper Box Arena against London Lions, which has set up a mouth-watering quarter-final tie against Esh Group Eagles Newcastle at Sport Central.

Wolves’ head coach Paul James is still searching for an elusive first piece of silverware for his club and it looks like they will have to do it the hard way – although they do have a decent record of late on their visits to the north-east.

The quarter-finals also feature EBL side Bristol Academy Flyers, who upset Surrey United and they will go up against the still red-hot and resurgent Cheshire Phoenix.

One club particularly keen to make it to the Final and play on their home floor will be Glasgow Rocks and they play their last eight clash at Manchester Giants.

Finally, current holders One Health Sharks Sheffield will continue the defence of their prize possession with a trip to Devon to face Plymouth University Raiders.

The 2014 BBL Trophy quarter-final line-up is as follows:

Esh Group Eagles Newcastle v Worcester Wolves

Plymouth University Raiders v One Health Sharks Sheffield

Manchester Giants v Glasgow Rocks

Cheshire Phoenix v Bristol Academy Flyers

The Final will once again take place at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, a venue which proved to be a stunning backdrop for last years’ thrilling conclusion to the competition.
