BBL All-Star Five – Week 30
It’s a bitter-sweet feeling as we unveil our very last All-Star Five of the 2016-17 BBL season!

Rahmon Fletcher (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
The playmaker has been in scintillating form during past months and was instrumental in taking the Eagles into the Play-Off Semi-Finals with an excellent contribution in the first leg at Bristol Flyers. Fletcher poured in 31 points last Friday and was just one assist shy of a super double-double after also adding four rebounds in the best performance of the weekend.

Danny Huffor (Worcester Wolves)
The defending Play-Off champions were eliminated by Wolves and much of that was down to a blistering start in the first leg of the Quarter-Finals in Sheffield. Huffor caught fire quickly and ended up with 48 points during the tie – a tally which included 25 points in the opening game when he went 11 of 16 from the floor and also contributed two rebounds and two assists.

Kai Williams (London Lions)
The Lions put one foot into the Semi-Finals after a second-half eruption at the Copper Box Arena when they tore past Glasgow Rocks to land a 21-point win and deliver a killer blow. Williams showed his class and experience as he torched the visitors from three-point range by sinking a sizzling seven triples for 27 points, while also gathering three boards and two steals.

Navid Niktash (London Lions)
While his team-mate was dropping bombs from downtown, Niktash was handling business by utilising his impressive inside-outside game for Lions in their ultimately decisive first leg success on their home floor. He excelled against the Rocks with 19 points and came close to securing a double-double by going to work on the glass and garnering nine rebounds.

Darius Defoe (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
It proved to be something of an epic tie against the gutsy seventh seeds for the Eagles and they might have been eliminated had Defoe not conjured up a big display against Flyers in an exhilarating second leg. The centre was a colossus as he wrapped up a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds to ensure the Eagles sneaked into the Semi-Finals.

Off the Bench – Brandon Clark (Leicester Riders), Orlan Jackman (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle), Hameed Ali (Bristol Flyers), Tayo Ogedengbe (Surrey Scorchers), Hayden Lescault (Worcester Wolves), Mike Tuck (DBL Sharks Sheffield), Brandon Boggs (Bristol Flyers).
