Molten BBL All-British Team of The Year 2016-17
The next award in our series of accolades is the Molten BBL All-British Team of the Year, with the clubs/coaches voting as follows:

Conner Washington (Leicester Riders)
Having already cemented a place in the Molten BBL All-Defensive Team of the Year, Washington is back again with more individual recognition for his performances. His excellent defensive work for Riders was accompanied by some great three-point shooting, as well as 3.4 assists per game.

Callum Jones (Manchester Giants)
It may have been a disappointing season for the Giants in terms of their final league placing, but the guard posted yet another standout individual campaign. The all-action displays of Jones in the backcourt harvested a fine 13.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and four assists per game.

Gareth Murray (Glasgow Rocks)
The Great Britain forward had had a fine season after finishing 2016-17 as the deadliest scorer in the BBL Championship. Murray shot a devastating 63.3% from the field and was a leading three-point shooter. He garnered 12.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and two assists per game.

Orlan Jackman (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
The forward has enjoyed a highly productive first season at Sport Central and a key member of the team which lifted the BBL Cup, finished second in the league and is still after silverware in the Play-Offs. Jackman averaged an eye-catching 11.3 points and 7.3 boards per game in the Championsip.

Kieron Achara (Glasgow Rocks)
The Great Britain star has been a towering figure for Rocks as usual and his outstanding consistency has been rewarded by the coaches casting their votes. Achara poured in more than 15 points per game and was an asset on the glass with 7.9 boards per outing. He was also a major defensive presence.

Off the Bench – Rob Marsden (Leeds Force), Danny Huffor (Worcester Wolves), Jamell Anderson (Cheshire Phoenix), Maurice Walker (Worcester Wolves), Tayo Ogedengbe (Surrey Scorchers), Darius Defoe (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle), Kai Williams (London Lions).
