The British Basketball League (BBL) is delighted to announce the BBL Championship fixtures for the forthcoming 2016-17 campaign.

The curtain will be raised for league action on Friday 23 September with two opening night games – one of which will see the reigning BBL Championship winners Leicester Riders go to 2016 BBL Play-Off winners, DBL Sharks Sheffield.

The regular BBL season will come to a close on Sunday 23 April, prior to the top eight teams fighting it out to make the 2017 BBL Play-Off Final at The O2 in London.

The draws for both the BBL Cup and BBL Trophy have already taken place after being streamed live on Facebook last month and can be found HERE.

Throughout the season, a total of 32 BBL and WBBL games will be broadcast live on BBC Sport in a schedule that will not only cover Championship clashes, but all three British Basketball Finals days for the BBL and WBBL Cup, Trophy and Play-Offs.
