We can now confirm our 2020-21 BBL Cup Quarter-Finals tip-off will be at home against Bristol Flyers on Wednesday 16 December 2020 at 19:30.
As the winners of Group 3, which saw runners-up Leicester Riders and third placed London Lions advancing to the Quarter-Finals, our Eagles are facing the Flyers who finished as the number three spot holders in their group.
The format of this new BBL Cup format assigned the ties as follows:
Group 1 winner vs Group 3 third place
Group 3 winner vs Group 1 third place
Group 2 winner vs Group 1 runner-up
Group 3 runner-up vs Group 2 runner-up
All four clashes will be played this coming Wednesday 16 December.
These single leg ties will see the winners advance to the Semi-Finals, which will be assigned by an open draw following the conclusion of these games and are set to be scheduled for the second weekend in January 2021.
The full list of Quarter-Finals tip-offs is as follows:
Plymouth Raiders vs London Lions – 19:00
Newcastle Eagles vs Bristol Flyers – 19:30
Manchester Giants vs Surrey Scorchers – 19:30
Leicester Riders vs Glasgow Rocks – 20:00
