It’s another place in the starting five for Jaysean Paige in this week’s All-Stars pick by the British Basketball League with Saah Nimley making the bench.

Tony Hicks (Surrey Scorchers)
The Surrey playmaker keeps his spot from last week and inks back-to-back appearances after some seriously good work for his side in their win at Bristol. He torched Flyers with one of the lines of the season as he dropped 31 points, handed out 8 assists, snapped up 5 steals and grabbed 4 rebounds.


Jaysean Paige (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle)
Only one other player has amassed six starting slots in our line-up and Paige is rewarded with a spot yet again after Eagles destroyed Leeds at Sport Central. The guard was on fire against Force and finished the one-sided contest with a major haul of 25 points, 10 assists, 8 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 blocks.

George Beamon (Worcester Wolves)
The versatile Beamon was a difference-maker for Worcester in their hard-fought success at home to Plymouth. He was the main architect of the victory against Raiders as he erupted for 34 points, including five triples, while adding 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals duirng a fine night of work.

Tayo Ogedengbe (Surrey Scorchers)
No stranger to our Weekly All-Star Five down the years, the British forward secures his maiden berth of this current campaign after lighting it up against Phoenix. He helped Scorchers land a weekend win double, with a blistering 21 points from 70% shooting – in addition to 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 2 assists.


Mike Vigor (Bristol Flyers)
It’s a second appearance of the campaign for the Scotland Commonwealth Games centre, with Vigor helping his side to a vibrant south-west derby success. His smart double-double of 14 points and 13 rebounds, as well as 4 assists and a steal, proved to be essential for Flyers as they won at Plymouth Pavilions.
