Following tonight’s live draw on the league’s Facebook Page, our Eagles will start their defence of the BBL Trophy with a visit to Bristol Flyers in the First Round.
A single-leg First Round game will be played on the weekend on 5, 6 and 7 February 2021.
Our Eagles go into this year’s competition as defending champions having lifted the title in the final game of British Basketball before coronavirus pandemic lockdown halted the season.

The Trophy is a straight knockout competition, involving all BBL clubs and five invited non-BBL teams.
This year Team Solent Kestrels have received another invitation following on from their runners-up finish last season.
The 2020 Trophy finalists from NBL Division 1 are joined by the fellow invited teams of Derby Trailblazers, Hemel Storm, Reading Rockets and Thames Valley Cavaliers.
In this bracketed tournament, four games stand between all the teams and a place in the 2021 BBL Trophy Final.
First up in the top-half of the brackets, our Eagles look to retain their title against the seven other teams all playing their way to lift the silverware from the following first round tip-offs:
London Lions vs Leicester Riders
Bristol Flyers vs Newcastle Eagles
Cheshire Phoenix vs Hemel Storm
Glasgow Rocks vs Reading Rockets
In the bottom-half and ultimately facing one of the eight teams above in the Final will be one of the following clubs:
Worcester Wolves vs Manchester Giants
Sheffield Sharks vs Plymouth Raiders
Surrey Scorchers vs Thames Valley Cavaliers
Derby Trailblazers vs Team Solent Kestrels
Fixture dates and tip-off times will be set in due course and games will be available to watch on the BBL Player.
