In the third quarter, the home team opened up with 10-0 run which forced the Eagles to call a time out. Foul trouble from Corkin forced him to be seated early in the third quarter.

In the 4th quarter lack of team defense and a number of turnovers led to the ball being stolen or inbounded incorrectly. The Eagles now play their next game in 3 weeks October 20th at Derby, with enough time to reflect and adjust from the lessons learnt from game one.

Coach Calvin said “We knew this game was going to be tough, however our lack of defensive pressure allowed the home team to set the pace of this game. Lots of lessons to learn from this one and review of the same will be done. But this is a young team with a lot of promise and will get better as the weeks go on.”
