We have another physical line-up this week, and once again, three debutantes.

Chavis Holmes (Surrey Heat)
It’s a terrific fifth appearance of the season for the playmaker who continues to keep Surrey Heat rolling at the forefront of the BBL Championship title race. He has been one of the pick-ups of the summer and his first few months in the BBL have been sensational. His latest BBL Team Of The Week slot comes after a trademark influential performance for his team which helped them to shrug off a slow start to overcome Durham Wildcats. He finished with an efficient 22 points at Newton Aycliffe and also pulled down seven rebounds in addition to two assists and two steals.

Chez Marks (Cheshire Phoenix)
There’s little doubt the Phoenix are rising, and a major contributor to a sixth BBL Championship victory of the season was the prolific Chez Marks who makes an overdue debut appearance in our starting five. He was fantastic against the Rocks at Northgate Arena, producing the best display of the weekend in the BBL after amassing 27 points including a trio of three-pointers. He also weighed in with six rebounds, three assists and a steal as Phoenix consolidated their top eight spot and continued a very impressive recent run on home soil.

Mike Martin (London Lions)
One of the most instantly recognisable faces in British Basketball, Mike Martin grabs a BBL Team Of The Week debut after playing a pivotal role in a thrilling victory for London Lions against UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders last Friday. The forward barely missed all night, going 11 of 14 from the floor en route to 26 points, whilst also contributing six rebounds, three assists and a steal as his all-action performance helped Lions to continue climbing the table after a poor start to the campaign.

Kareem Maddox (Newcastle Eagles)
A week after being handed the accolade of Molten BBL Player Of The Month For November, the Eagles forward is back in our line-up with a third BBL Team Of The Week appearance of the season after helping to dig his team out of a worrying hole at the Pavilions. The Eagles looked destined for successive league losses when down by ten points midway through the final quarter against Raiders, but a double-double of 24 points and 11 rebounds from the in-form Maddox helped his team escape from Devon with a precious road win.

Arturas Masiulis (Worcester Wolves)
The Lithuanian centre is the third BBL Team Of The Week debutante in the line-up after the veteran helped destroy the Eagles last Saturday night. Masiulis proved to be unstoppable under the hoop as accumulated an impressive double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds to put the reigning champions to the sword. He was an excellent eight of ten from the floor and his physical approach perfectly suited Wolves’ game plan which proved to be highly effective.

Off The Bench – Ralph Bucci (Durham Wildcats), Demetrius Jemison (One Health Sharks Sheffield), Kai Williams (Worcester Wolves), Michael Ojo (UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders), Matt Schneck (UCP Marjon Plymouth Raiders), Mike Tuck (One Health Sharks Sheffield)
