The Newcastle Eagles STEM programmes takes on the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths, covering topics like percentages, ratios, averages and forces, as well as design and construction, to take the court into the classroom.

Basketball remains the UK’s second most participated team sport and its fast-paced statistical focus, combined with unique equipment and venues, holds STEM at its core.

The Eagles STEM programme has brought the subjects to life using inspirational role-models from the women’s team to deliver the outreach activity and breaking stereotypes along the way.
