The first stop on the road to the benecos British Basketball Play-Offs Final at The O2 in London next month for both our BBL and WBBL teams has now been set.
Following the conclusion of the WBBL Championship season this weekend we now know that our Eagles will travel to their Play-Off Quarter-Final one-leg away tie against Leicester Riders this coming Saturday 27 April with tip-off at 6:30pm in the Loughborough University Netball & Badminton Centre.
Meanwhile in the BBL with a number of important clashes for the teams positions four through eight still to lock-in their final standings what we do know is that London Lions, Leicester Riders and our Eagles hold the top three spots and will have home-court advantage in the Quarter-Final fixtures. London City Royals are currently in fourth and have qualified, but have no assurance yet on a top four finish.
This means that our Eagles’ BBL Play-Offs Quarter-Final 2nd leg will be played on Sunday 5 May with tip-off at 5pm at the Eagles Community Arena. The opposition and the 1st leg fixture will be set next weekend following the conclusion of the BBL Championship season, but is expected to be played on either Friday 3 or Saturday 4 May. Tickets for our home leg are on sale now:
