This week Basketball England launched a new initiative that aims to put 1,000 basketball nets on outdoor hoops across the country.

We want as many basketball players from across the North East to get involved with ‘Project Swish’, as it is called, to get missing or broken nets replaced on courts across our region.

The project will not only mean that players will be able to benefit from the upgrade, but it will also facilitate the identification of courts in key locations for potential renovation through the scheme and develop the governing body’s ‘Find A Court’ database.

Find out more details on the Basketball England website and submit a court near you.
