The first Newcastle Eagles Hoops4Health Tournament took place on Wednesday 14th November at Northumberland Church of England Academy.

NCEAsport sixth formers took the role of team managers, officials and scorers with great success demonstrating excellent leadership skills.

All NCEA primary sites were represented and played some super basketball following their training with Newcastle Eagles coach Anthony Sampson.

Grace Darling were the eventual winners and go on to represent NCEA at Sport Central in the Northumberland finals. The learners will play competitive games against other schools’ before the Newcastle Eagles vs. Surrey Heat on the 14th December.
