The move of this away trip over the border to Caledonia from its originally scheduled date of Sunday 9 November means that the Eagles’ Trophy progression will be sealed inside six days with a home game versus Sheffield at the Vertu Arena lined-up for Friday 12 December.

Caledonia, Newcastle and Sheffield form Group 1 with the winners of each of the three groups plus the best runner-up overall making up the four teams advancing to a two-legged Semi-Finals stage on the weekend Friday 2 to Sunday 4 January 2026.

Looking into the new year, SLB officials have also confirmed changes to the Championship schedule by adding Friday 6 March for the Eagles against Cheshire Phoenix instead of the original date of Friday 10 April when Newcastle will now face Manchester.

There is just one unscheduled game on the Men’s schedule still to be confirmed, away at Manchester, which will be announced in due course.

Fixtures and format details for the 2026 SLB Cup competition are expected soon with Friday 23 January currently pencilled in as a Quarter-Finals home game date for your diary.
