It is with great regret that Newcastle Eagles have agreed to a request from assistant coach Bill Spragg and player Will Spragg to leave the club prior to Christmas break.

Coach Spragg joined the club in 2001, joining then Head coach Tony Garbelotto and has assisted the senior team through its most successful period in franchise history.

Managing Director Paul Blake stated, “We wish Bill and Will all the best in their future endeavors and thank them for the huge role they have played in bringing success to the team in recent years.

The Eagles face Guildford Heat away on Sunday 27th December in another must win game to keep up with Sheffield Sharks in the top of the table battle.
