Ahead of tonight’s British Basketball League Trophy fixture against Manchester Giants at the Vertu Motors Arena, Seriös Group Newcastle Eagles have opted to issue the following injury update:

Josh Ward-Hibbert

Unspecified injury. Josh has been playing through pain for a number of weeks now and the club is keen to give him the rehabilitation time necessary to finish the season strongly.

Expected return: end of January.

Devin Whitfield

Hamstring strain. Following additional tests earlier this week it was determined that a slight hamstring strain requires further treatment.

Expected return: mid-February.

Scott Spencer

Back injury. Scott has successfully come through a minor procedure and has started his physical rehabilitation.

Expected return: end of January.

Will Neighbour

Knee injury. Will has successfully come through a minor procedure and is progressing well.

Expected return: start of February.
