In the middle of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic lockdown a number of our suppliers have come forward to support us through these unprecedented circumstances.

One of the first to offer their help was Can Do Communications UK Ltd, who provide the phone system for our Eagles Community Arena.

Paul Withycombe, director of Can Do Communications UK Ltd, said: “I was looking at the COVID-19 message on the Eagles website and read that the Eagles Community Foundation has pretty much no income right now, other than donations from our fellow Eagles supporters.

“So as a valued customer of CDCUKLTD, I thought that the least I could do in your time of need was to offer to cover your bills until the end of June and reassess the situation then, to see where we are in these uncertain times.”

Since the start of the lockdown, the cloud-based phones technology available to the Eagles has meant that our auto-attendant and voicemail greetings were able to be temporarily changed quickly and easily, with calls and voicemail messages redirected to the limited number of staff who are working remotely.

The Eagles Community Foundation would like to extend a huge thank you to Paul and his Can Do Communications UK Ltd colleagues for this donation and gesture at an extremely difficult time for us all.
