Descriptive result: Leeds extended Eagles lost despite a great effort from our local players.
1st quarter description:
The game started with both teams playing to each other exchanging buckets on each side until minute 8 (9-12 for visitors), when Eagles took couple of bad decision allowing Leeds to feel more comfortable on court and score couple of easy buckets on their favour. That affected Eagles games where they couldn’t cope with Manchester fast breaks and intense defence giving a 0-15 for Leeds to finish the first quarter with a final 10-33.
2nd quarter description:
The second quarter saw a fantastic attitude from Eagles where they score 3 3 pointers in a row but unfortunately Leeds took the reaction back on their side allowing only 3pts to Eagles the rest of the 2nd quarter. Eagles accused the great effort and the following 5 minutes saw Leeds scoring easily with a final 62-22 on the score board for Leeds.
3rd quarter description:
Eagles show a completely different attitude after the hald time break, and show pride and effort. The defence became more intense and that made Eagles players feel more comfortable scoring points which bring a 17-19 for Eagles at the end of the quarter.
4th quarter description:
The still big points difference on the score board didn’t help the visitor team to attempt a resurrection so the game dynamic state as it was before the half time ending the game with a final score for Leeds of 106-43.

Eagles Head Coach, Miquel Vinyals said: “Despite the loss, the team had good moments but need to be more consistent. The team is heading in the right direction and I am pretty sure the next win won’t be too long to be on our side”.
