Eagles started the first quarter on the back of their big man Leivin as he opened up with 4 points as the home team came back and quickly equalised. Eagles answered with some big shots of their own as Spoors led the offensive charge. The home team capitalised on some defensive breakdowns on the Eagles part as the first quarter ended 21-17.
Quarter 2, after a few adjustments on defence the Eagles slowed down the home team from the mid-range but opened up other issues on the interior defence, the eagles out scored the home team in this quarter and went into the half time down by 1 point. 45-44
Quarter 3 the eagles came out strong putting the home team in foul trouble and getting to the line. But the home team put on a shooting clinic keeping it very close and hitting some big shots down the stretch.
The Eagles Evbuomwan rose to the occasion and took the lead role in the offensive charge against the home team getting 3 fouls where the basket counted as well and got to line several times in the 4th quarter.
