The game started with the Eagles setting the pace and quickly taking the lead on the back of point Riley scoring a 3 pointer to get on the points board early. Eagles committed a few fouls early which allowed the visitors to get to the free throw line 5 times in the first quarter. Eagles big man Leivin showed capitalised on his mismatches and scored 6 points early to finish the first quarter 19-7 .
The second quarter saw a lot of the same but this time it was the turn of Spoors and Wilson to add to the home teams lead with a combination of inside infinishing and outside shooting from Wilson. Both went into the locker room with changes that needed to be made.38-16
The first half scoring was dominated by Evbuomwan, Riley and Spoors for the Eagles. In third quarter the home team began to go to use their overall size advantage to dominate the glass both offensively and defensively as Cheshire struggled with helping on their big men. The 3rd quarter ended 57-43.
The fourth saw the Cheshire try to start the come back on several occasions, but with 3 of their starting players in foul trouble, the eagles took advantage of a drop in the defensive intensity on the visitors side. Game ended with a final score of 73-57
