Newcastle Eagles women’s team head coach Chloe Gaynor will be without one of her team for the rest of the season following an update from the club’s medical team.

Natalie Cernohorska has suffered an ACL injury and will be unable to return to the court for the foreseeable future. Cernohorska remains a vital part of the women’s team group and fans will still see her around the club and at games supporting her teammates from the bench.

Coach Gaynor does expect to see her ranks replenished when Jada Dapaa and Sarah Wells return. The performance team are pleased to confirm both are progressing well with their recover and fans can expect to see them back on court in the near future.
