Seriös Group Newcastle Eagles will fly into European competition for a second consecutive season following the exciting climax to their inaugural campaign ended in the Quarter-Finals last week.

As 2024-25 season tickets go on sale today the club has offered its loyal fans the option to secure their seat for both British Basketball League and European North Basketball League action.

“Our first season in Europe has been an incredible journey and we are very proud of everything the team achieved”, said Eagles Managing Director, Paul Blake.

“Everyone at the club is very grateful for the support of our fans and sponsors in the first year and we’re looking forward to flying out to our second season of European competition.

“Joining the ENBL last summer meant we weren’t able to give our season ticket holders the option to lock-in their seat for all the action on court at the Vertu Motors Arena when they renewed before last season ended, but we are pleased to put this in place now for the next campaign.”

The Eagles travelled to Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania over the past six months and welcomed crowds at home to watch tip-offs against teams from Belgium, Czechia, Denmark and Poland.

Edgars Zanders, ENBL Secretary General, said: “Seriös Group Newcastle Eagles is a great team both on and off the court.

“We appreciate the Eagles organisation with all the interest they had in their games from a big fanbase and of course the great basketball we experienced.

“They had lots of good group games and making it to the 2023-24 playoffs of European North Basketball is an amazing accomplishment for the first time ever participating team in ENBL.

“There is no doubt we are looking forward to working with the Eagles in future.”

Fixtures for both the 2024-25 British Basketball League and ENBL schedules will be confirmed in due course.

Fans wanting to secure their place in the stands can book their place now with season card renewals until the end of April and a reduced early bird offer until the end of May are available from the box office now.
