The Newcastle Eagles took time out of preparing for the BBL Trophy Final Second Leg tonight for a quick visit to BT to help promote Sport Relief.

The team visited staff and challenged them to a shoot out on the basketball court. BT staff paid to take shots against the Eagle of their choice. If they managed to outscore their Eagle they were entered into a prize draw.

The money raised was put towards this year’s Sport Relief appeal.

Fab Flournoy said: “This is an important week for us but we can always find time to help raise money for a good cause. We will be in the Trophy Final on Sport Relief night so this gave us the perfect opportunity to get involved. Good luck to everyone taking part in the Sport Relief mile this weekend, we hope you have fun and raise a lot of money.”
