In the third quarter, eagles came out correcting the mistakes to cut the home team lead to 3 points but unfortunately due to mistakes , technicals and frustrating referee calls Eagles could not take the lead despite outscoring the home team. The third quarter ended 71-58.
In the 4th quarter Eagles were trailing from behind and with 3 of its main scorers in foul trouble , and one player ejected , frustrations with the official calls saw the Eagles transition defence disappear allowing the home team to end the game with a 106-80 win.
Coach Calvin said “Minor errors on our part in addition to the officiating led to our team getting frustrated early, we lacked composure through the 4th quarter and this along our foul trouble put us in the position we were in. Plenty for us to take away from this game. Scoring continues not to be our problem as we can still put up 80 points, its our transition defence that let us down today”
